BRAD EINSTEIN
Comedian. Writer. Puppeteer. Nature Enthusiast. Silly Goose.

Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in LA, Brad's work focuses on comedy nature documentaries and climate communications. He has been featured in The LA Times, Rolling Stone, Atlas Obscura, Outside Magazine, and more. Brad's a Webby Award-winning adventure doc producer, the winner of the 2021 Climate Comedy Cohort, and the writer of The Climate Variety Show, hosted by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Jason Sudeikis.

Ayana E. Johnson, Jason Sudeikis, Roy Wood Jr. Are Throwing a Climate Party
By Charisma Madarang (September 13, 2024)
Marine biologist Ayana Elizabeth Johnson’s What If We Get It Right? might be the most helpful book on the planet right now for dreamers, do-ers, and anyone concerned with Earth’s rising temperatures, sea levels, and carbon emissions.
It’s especially beguiling for those looking to join the climate fight but don’t know where to start — the book reads more like a guided map inviting readers to be inspired — and ultimately take action — through art, conversations, essays, poetry, and more.

Column: Meet the comedians telling hilarious jokes about climate change
By Sammy Roth/Climate Columnist (May 16, 2024)
...Comedy tends to be more memorable than other types of storytelling. “Marketing people have known this forever. This is why Super Bowl ads are so funny,” she told me.
I certainly won’t forget last week’s show at the Crow — especially Gast, but also Brad Einstein’s high-energy set. He started out by telling us he was once a “perpetrator of climate misinformation,” when he was paid to write tweets for “one of the largest oil conglomerates on the planet.”

Time LA Out Comedy Pick
Time Out Los Angeles (May 31, 2024)
Brilliant comedy mastermind Brad Einstein invites a diverse crew of comedians to help him quiz you on… all the knowledge in human history. It sounds like a daunting task, but we believe in this buckwild gonzo.
This former New York show—which has added audience trivia and prizes to its repertoire—now has a monthly slot at the Lyric Hyperion, where he pores over the annals with cohosts Claire Einstein and Jesse Cramer; the June edition, Volume F, will put the focus on F-words.
